Frequently Asked Questions
How many people do you impact with your charitable work?
While our quantity of kids grows every year, The Legacy Project focuses on the quality of our impact on local families and children in the Baltimore area. The impact of the The Legacy Project is massive because we change the entire trajectory of a child's life - helping the connected families and communities position themselves to have the highest likelihood of prosperity through the education each child obtains.
If I make a donation, can I decide what my money is used for?
Currently, we are unable to offer that flexibility at this time. All donated monies go toward tuition assistance. However, we are working with the Baltimore Community Foundation to make this a possibility.
How is The Legacy Project different than other charities?
Is there a minimum donation?
At this time there is no minimum donation, every little bit can help.
The Legacy Project was designed to have no one on its payroll. 100% of the funds go directly to a school's tuition with no middle man. This enhances fiduciary responsibilities, minimizes the chances of exploitation and maximizes the effect each dollar has for the family and child.
